This is often work-based training, that is the general training people need in their day-to-day work, for example, first aid, health & safety, food hygiene, manual handling, drugs awareness, conflict management, etc. We regularly customise courses to accommodate client's specific needs and we have a range of Integer accredited programmes in specialist areas such as, for example Food Hygiene for the Chilled Food Industry.

We have trained thousands of men and women in the security sector; from football stewards to carnival marshals. We are approved by respective national awarding bodies to deliver qualifications recognised by the SIA (Security Industry Authority) for registration and licensing purposes in door supervision, security operations, CCTV operations and vehicle immobilising and, (soon to be introduced) close protection. We have worked with organisations such as The Commonwealth Games, Wembley Stadium, Glastonbury Festivals, Sheffield Wednesday Football Club and the Rugby Football Union at Twickenham.

Different people need different things to prepare them for life and work; some need help with fundamental skills such as preparing a 'personal plan', others need to develop their abilities in areas such as problem solving, assertiveness and working as part of a team. Integer has extensive experience in providing this personal development type training and has a range of courses at various levels to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge they require to carry out their life and work.

We have helped many individuals obtain their training qualifications in order that they may deliver training programmes themselves, either within their employment, or as freelance tutors; some of these people are employed as trainers by Integer. Prospective trainers that are occupationally competent in their subject areas can 'qualify' by sitting a teaching qualification with Integer and be 'ready' to tutor in a minimum timescale of 6-8 weeks.
Many NVQ qualifications are currently attracting LSC (Learning & Skills Council) funding subsidy. Integer can deliver NVQ training across a range of sectors, from care to stewarding to customer services. If the course you require is not specifically listed, contact Integer to check availability.
